At Go Visit RD we take your privacy very seriously. We don't like spam or fine print, so here I explain simply what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
1. What data do we collect and how do we do it?
We only ask for strictly necessary data. We collect your name and email address only when you decide to provide them voluntarily through the subscription boxes for our newsletter (located on the home page and in the footer).
2. What do we use your data for?
We use your name and email exclusively to send you our newsletter with weekly articles, news, and valuable content. We will never sell, transfer, or rent your data to third parties.
3. Where is your data stored?
The subscription forms on this website are managed and stored securely through Netlify, the platform that hosts our website. In addition, we use Cloudflare to improve the speed and security of the page.
4. Third-party tools on Go Visit RD
To make the blog work correctly and to understand what content you like the most, we rely on some external tools. These platforms have their own privacy policies:
- Comments (Disqus): If you decide to leave a comment on our articles, the system is managed by Disqus. They collect the information necessary to allow you to interact in the community.
- Analytics (Google Analytics): We use this tool to analyze basic and anonymous metrics about visits (which articles are read the most, from which country they visit us, etc.).
- Advertising and Affiliates: We use platforms like Google AdSense and Viator, which may use cookies to personalize ads or track the origin of a reservation.
5. Your rights (Your data is yours)
At any time you have control over your information. You have the right to:
- Know what data we have about you.
- Ask us to modify it if there is an error.
- Demand that we delete them from our database.
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time (there will always be a link at the end of each email to do so with a single click).
